DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, May 20\n\nBackground: The Fairfax County  Comprehensive Plan guides land use and development. Plan Forward is a County-wide project to update the policy portion of the Comprehensive Plan and will determine the direction of land use in all Districts for the foreseeable future. They most likely will guide future District-specific land-use guidelines that are “reviewed” every five years. \nThe Plan Forward Community Feedback Report will be discussed during this Board of Supervisors Land Use Policy Committee. \nAll committee meetings are streamed live on Channel 16 and available online afterwards under the “video on demand” links. \nThis topic also was discussed during the April 3\, Planning Commission Policy Plan Committee (view the video). \nA PDF of the Plan Forward virtual presentation is available at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/planning-development/sites/planning-development/files/Assets/Documents/compplanamend/policy-plan-update/Community-meetings-presentation.pdf \nThe Plan Forward Community Feedback Report is now available online.
